ABOUT SOUTH SHORE BARN
South Shore Barn is located on a working sheep ranch just outside Laketown, Utah, about half a mile from Bear Lake. Surrounded by pasture, farmland and mountain views, the Barn provides a relaxed setting for weddings, concerts, festivals and other events.
THE BARN
The Barn was built in the style of early 20th-century timber barns. Rough-sawn wood floors and aged wood siding give the building a simple, rustic feel. The main hall seats up to 176 guests and provides space for dining, dancing and gathering. The Barn also includes a large catering kitchen, three bathrooms and an upstairs bride’s room.
THE GROUNDS
South Shore Barn sits on the historic lambing grounds of a working sheep ranch. Sheep and other livestock continue to graze the surrounding pastures. A large, covered porch provides additional space for meals and gatherings. Outside the Barn is approximately a half-acre of grass that can be used for ceremonies, photographs and outdoor events.
BEAR LAKE, UTAH
The Barn is located on the south end of Bear Lake near Laketown. The surrounding area remains largely agricultural, with pasture, and crops nearby. Guests can enjoy a quiet ranch setting while still being only a few minutes from Bear Lake.
